Union Bank of India, IIT Varanasi sign Mou to set up joint incubation centre

The tie-up will help finance technological advancements in manufacturing and services sectors in line with the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Union Bank of India has signed an MoU with IIT (BHU) Varanasi to set up a joint incubation centre.

The tie-up will help finance technological advancements in manufacturing and services sectors in line with the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

While Union Bank of India will provide the financial support, the operations will be managed by IIT (BHU) Varanasi.

Through the Incubation Centre, Union Bank will provide all kinds of financial support to the youth for self-employment.  

The centre is named as ‘IIT (BHU) Varanasi-Union Bank of India Incubation Centre’.  

IIT (BHU) Varanasi Dean-(R&D) Vikas Kumar Dubey and Union Bank zonal head, Varanasi, Girish Joshi signed the MoU in the presence of Director of IIT (BHU) Varanasi, Pramod Kumar Jain. 

Jain welcomed the proposal to initiate technological advancement research programme, based on the feedback of the entrepreneurs who are customers of Union Bank of India.
