Punjab National Bank’s global business reached almost Rs 30 lakh crore for the quarter ending March 2026 even as credit outpaced deposits growth.
The state-owned lender saw a 10.79% growth in its global business to Rs 29.73 lakh crore for the March quarter compared to Rs 26.83 lakh crore a year ago.
Out of this, the domestic business rose 10.39% in Q4FY26 to Rs 28.45 lakh crore versus Rs 25.77 lakh crore in the year-ago period.
Deposit growth in Q4
Global deposits grew 9.25% year-on-year and 3.08% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 17.11 lakh crore, while domestic deposits rose 9.14% YoY and 3.26% QoQ to Rs 16.49 lakh crore as on 31 March 2026.
Advances
Global advances were up 12.97% YoY and 2.45% QoQ to Rs 12.61 lakh crore, while domestic advances saw a 12.17% YoY and 2.49% QoQ growth to Rs 11.95 lakh crore.
Global credit-to-deposit ratio for the fiscal fourth-quarter stood at 73.70% versus 74.16% in Q3FY26 and 71.28% in Q4FY25.
