PNB posts 11% loan growth, deposits up 8.5% in Q3

Punjab National Bank’s credit saw a double-digit growth in the fiscal third quarter ended December over the year-ago period while deposits lagged behind.
The state-owned lender’s total loan book grew 10.98% year-on-year to Rs 12.32 lakh crore as on 31 December 2025. In a regulatory filing, the bank said its domestic advances rose 10.15% annually to Rs 11.68 lakh crore during the December quarter.
Total deposits, on the other hand, grew 8.54% YoY to Rs 16.60 lakh crore. The lender said domestic deposits rose 8.32% YoY to Rs 15.97 lakh crore in the December quarter.
Global business rose 9.57% year-on-year to Rs 28.92 lakh crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal,according to disclosure of provisional figures to the stock exchanges.
The state-owned bank’s domestic business stood at Rs 27.65 lakh crore during the October-December period, up 9.09% over the year-ago period.
