Arcil fixes IPO price band at Rs 132-139 per share

Arcil will be first asset reconstruction company to be listed. IPO entirely offer for sale and at upper end of price band to fetch Rs 733 crore.


Asset Reconstruction Company (India), or Arcil, has fixed the price band of its proposed initial public offering (IPO) at Rs 132-139 per share.

At the upper end of the price band, the IPO will fetch Rs 733 crore, while at the lower band it will be Rs 696 crore. This will value the asset reconstruction company (ARC) at Rs 4,516 crore.

The IPO will make Arcil the first ARC to be listed on the stock exchanges. 

The IPO, comprising entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of 5.27 crore equity shares, will open for public subscription on 9 September and close on 11 September.

The one-day bidding for anchor investors will take place on 8 September.

All the net proceeds of the IPO will go to the selling shareholders — New York-headquartered global investment firm Avenue India Resurgence, State Bank of India (SBI), Lathe Investment Pte Ltd and The Federal Bank.

Promoters Avenue India Resurgence and SBI own 69.73% and 19.95% stakes in Arcil, respectively. Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC-backed Lathe Investment holds a 5% stake in Arcil.

Arcil is engaged in acquiring stressed assets from banks and financial institutions and implementing resolution strategies through restructuring, enforcement of rights over underlying securities and settlement.

The company will be listed on the BSE and NSE on 17 September.

IIFL Capital Services, IDBI Capital Markets & Securities and JM Financial are the merchant bankers to the issue.

Arcil posted a 6.7% year-on-year rise in profit to Rs 351.7 crore for FY26, with revenue jumping 24% to Rs 721.7 crore.
