Govt clears extension of term of office of Bank of Maharashtra MD & CEO Rajeev; Central Bank of India CEO MV Rao also gets extension.
The chief executives of Bank of Maharashtra and Central Bank of India have got an extension of term of office.
The government has cleared the extension of A S Rajeev, the managing director and CEO of Bank of Maharashtra, for six months till his superannuation.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has also extended the term of M V Rao, MD and CEO of Central Bank of India, till 31 July 2025.
Rajeev was appointed MD and CEO of Bank of Maharashtra in 2018 while Rao took charge of Central Bank of India in 2021.
