Bank of Baroda on Monday said Shanti Lal Jain would cease to be its executive director from 1 September due to his appointment as the managing director and CEO of Indian Bank.
Jain's cessation as the executive director of Bank of Baroda will be effective from 1 September 2021, the bank said in a regulatory filing.
Jain will head Indian Bank for three years with effect from the date of assumption of office on or after 1 September, a Personnel Ministry order had earlier said.
Jain's appointment is extendable based on his performance by up to two years, or till attaining the age of superannuation (i.e. January 31, 2024), the order had further stated.
