Madhivanan Balakrishnan has been elevated to the position of executive director and chief operating officer of IDFC First Bank following the Reserve Bank of India's approval.
Balakrishnan’s elevation was recommended by the nomination and remuneration committee for a period of three years, IDFC First Bank said in the statement.
Balakrishnan has been a part of the bank since 2019 and is currently serving as the COO of the bank. He has a broad expertise across business development, operations, customer insights and technology.
