PNB opens branch for stock brokers in Mumbai

Punjab National Bank has inaugurated a dedicated stock broker branch, located opposite to the iconic BSE building in Mumbai.


Punjab National Bank has inaugurated a dedicated stock broker branch, located opposite to the iconic Bombay Stock Exchange building in Mumbai.

The aim is to cater to the stock broking fraternity by offering end-to-end financial services to them through seamless digital banking solution.  

“The core offering of the branch is e-FDR facility in collaboration with NSE clearing corporation, e-BG, OD against securities and bank guarantee limit,” PNB said in a statement.

The inauguration was attended by PNB managing director and CEO Ashok Chandra, BSE MD and CEO Sundararaman Ramamurthy, BSE Clearing Ltd (BSECL) MD and CEO Vaisshali Babu, PNB chief general manager and zonal head-Mumbai Deepak Srivastava and circle head-Mumbai City Rajeev Kamal.

Representatives from BSE, NSE, MCX and BSECL, along with customers and other stakeholders, were present at the event.

Addressing the gathering, Chandra said the bank was focused on offering state-of-the-art products tailored to the requirements of the stock broking community.
