CSB Bank has got the RBI nod to appoint Pralay Mondal as its deputy managing director. His tenure will be for three years.
CSB Bank has got the RBI nod to appoint Pralay Mondal as its deputy managing director. His tenure will be for three years.
CSB Bank has got the approval of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to appoint Pralay Mondal as its deputy managing director.
His appointment, effective February 17, 2022, is for a period of three years.
In June, the private sector lender had announced Mondal’s name as DMD subject to RBI’s approval.
Mondal has been with CSB Bank since September 23, 2020 as president (retail, SME, operations and IT).
Having over 30 years of banking experience, Mondal has worked in Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
Last month, CSB Bank said its managing director and CEO C VR Rajendran has decided to take early retirement on health grounds. His current three-year term was to end on December 8, 2022, but he would continue till March 2022.
