State Bank of India (SBI) is looking to launch its upgraded version of mobile banking app Yono 2.0 by the end of this December.
The new version will be capable of handling 20 crore customers, SBI chairman CS Setty said.
The revamped version of Yono 1.0 will be commercially launched most likely in December, he added.
Yono is driving the bank’s digital agenda with 9.35 crore registered users. The bank said 64% of its savings account is opened through Yono in Q2FY26. The total UPI users on Yono are 3.96 crore.
