SBI waives processing fees on home loans till 31 Aug

SBI home loan interest rates start at 6.70%; now processing fees, which stand at 0.40%, are being waived off until 31 August.
State Bank of India (SBI) has waived the processing fees on home loans till 31 August.
Currently, the processing fee on home loans is 0.40%.
The ‘Monsoon Dhamaka Offer’ is for a limited period ending on 31 August, SBI said.
"There could not be a better time to buy a house, considering SBI home loan interest rates start at just 6.70%," SBI said in a release.
Last September, SBI had also waived off the processing fee completely.
Announcing the waiver in processing fee, SBI managing director of retail and digital banking CS Setty said: “We believe this offer of processing fee waiver will facilitate and encourage home buyers to take decision with ease, as interest rate is at its historic low."
There will be a 5 bps concession for a home loan applied through SBI’s YONO App. Women borrowers are eligible for a 5 bps concession on the loan rate, SBI said.
